Polymer Clays Eyes

Today, I worked on a tutorial for making polymer clay eyes. These little buggers are so much fun to make. I made fourteen pairs of eyes, that's twenty-eight eyeballs altogether. They are about the size of dime. I still have a long way to go the tutorial and since I have never done one quite so big, I don't know when I'll be done with it. But needless to say, I hope to be done soon. The picture was taken just before they went into the oven.

And speaking of eyes, Forest Rogers has a new sculpt posted on her blog. It is a unicorn with really awesome eyes.

Happy Dollmaking,
Coppermouse

Love the eyes! Do you plan on selling them? I would be interested in buying a pair.

I might be shooting myself in the foot here but have you thought about making your tutorial a mini-class over at Doll Street? The $$ would help buy more clay for eyes!!!

These are some of the best 'home made' eyes I've seen!

That's an excellent idea Judi. It is true that I sell dolls just so I can buy more supplies to make more dolls...and you get the idea. It's never about making big bucks is it.

Ute, I'll send you an email.

No offense, I think it is really cool and all.....

But I will be seeing those eyes in my nightmares...

Dear Robert,

Oh dear me! I don't want to give you bad dreams. Here, just think of cute pink fuzzy bunnies and rainbows. Hope that helps. :)
