Eight Inch Waldorf-style Root Child

In between doll projects, I wanted to make my daughter a small root child. It is made from recycled materials. An old stained onsie was used for the hands and head, and a thrift find was used for the body and hat. Her body is weighted with millet. I've never made a doll like this before. The experience was quite enjoyable.

I think it is so great to make a cuddly doll out of her old clothes-----she is so cute and I am looking forward to reading the story

hello - I found your blog because I'm looking for a Krampus doll for a Christmas gift. I wonder if you sold the one pictured on your blog or if you have made or would make another one to sell.
Thank you!

Gretchen,

I am sorry to say that my Krampus doll is in a private collection. I have no future plans on making another one. Thanks for your interest.
