Here are two dolls in progress for your viewing pleasure. The top will be a fashion doll based off of a German fashion doll from 1850. The bottom doll is my interpretation of Edgar Allen Poe. I am unable to decide which one to complete first. We'll just have to see where they want to go.
I am officially six months pregnant now with our first child, Madeline. Things are going so much better now with the pregnancy. My husband and I are very excited and can't wait to see and hold her.

Hi Melisa,
Love your WIPs, as well as the one growing in your tummy.
What an exciting time for you. I'll bet you can hardly wait to hold her in your arms.
I got my baby fix this morning, as my brand new grandson is visiting. Naturally, his photo is now up on my blog. I'm going to try really hard to keep the photo thing under control. It won't be easy.
I'm excited for you,
Deanna
Congratulations on your new grandson Deanna. I am so happy for you. Thanks for the kind words.
Hi Melisa...if I where you I'd finish Edgar first! But then again I love the hair on the German fashion doll! Your dolls are all so wonderful. You've really inspired me to delve a little deeper into the doll makers world and I've seen some amazing work...I love MRSBO and watched the UTube video and was just in awe!
Good to see little Madeline is doing well...Two friends of mine a due around the same time as you....What have you girls been drinking!!
Cheers

Congratulations on this exciting news, and best wishes!
Hi hi!
George can't wait to meet his new playmate. Well, Mommy can't wait for George to meet his new playmate, that is.
Thanks Anna. :)
Melisa -
I'm glad you're feeling well and you have some energy to work. When I was 6 months pregnant with my last child is when I felt best! I had to crawl through a McDonald's Playplace to get my older son out of one of the tubes. Ah, youth! I couldn't do that now and I'm not pregnant. ;-)

Just found you and love, love, love your style. I'll be coming back to visit often. I'm putting you on my blog roll. :o) Amy
I forgot to say Congratulations on your baby! Fun and exciting times await you! It is so much fun. Have you felt a kick yet? I remember watching my belly move. Very cool! :o) Amy
Baby Madeline! Oh, she's so beautiful already! And I love the name you have picked out for her. What a lucky baby she is to be your greatest masterpiece.
Big belly hugs- Joee
WOW I just discovered your blog and I am IN LOVE with your dolls! Your work is so fabulous, what an inspiration. Seriously, I adore your work!! And congrats on the baby :)
Hi Melisa,
Senta sent me your way & I really admire your dolls as well. With your time constraints, maybe you could do the fashion/Poe dolls conjoined as one of those topsy turvy dolls! Not sure that would actually be any less work though...
Best wishes on the "living doll" soon to come!
your dolls are very unique :)
Checking in here for news...any updates?
Hi there,
Kamila gave me your info because I wanted to reach you about joining MRSBO. I tried e-mailing you at coppermouse_dolls@yahoo.com but it keeps getting returned. Please let me know if there is a different e-mail I can reach you at. No rush, I can see there is a baby due any time now, congratulations!!
