Jennifer- WIP

This is one of my larger dolls. She is about 24 inches tall. Her name is Jennifer. She is a work in progress. I had to put her aside while I finished up some Christmas presents. Her hair is an acrylic wig. If any of my dollmaker friends have any tips about styling acrylic hair, I'd love to hear from you. Oh yes, one other thing, I wanted to thank Ute for all her advice with designing feet. I think my feet are getting better, but I still have a long way to go. Perhaps I need to sit down and sew 100 feet, attack my weakness head on. Back to Jennifer. Her costume still has a lot of work and I am going to make some sandals. I will post some more pictures. Thanks for looking! :)

I think she is coming out great! One of the best patterns I've seen for feet is the Basic Woman by Pam Grose. Very shapely. The foot is separate from the leg and I think it is 3 parts (but don't quote me on that, LOL).

Hi, I can't seem to find your name anywhere, but I was doing a blog search for fellow doll artists and found your site. I love your work - your dolls are full of character and imaginative. I will stop by often! Also, would you mind if I added you as a link to my blog? www.coraliescharceters.com

Oh I just love Pam Grose's stlye of dollmaking. It would be so neat to take one of her classes. Thanks for that bit of advice.

To Carolie,
Thanks for reminding me that I do not have a name on my blog. I like to go by Coppermouse. That's because my name is often misspelled and mispronounced. :) And by all means, I would be honored to have a link to your blog as well.
Happy Dollmaking.

Love Jennifer and I don't see anything wrong with her feet. They have a charecter of their own and go with Jennifer very well.
